Foreign investor interest in Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) continues to grow as multiple international delegations from Europe and East Asia recently conducted site visits to assess on-ground infrastructure development.

During the visits, representatives reviewed key infrastructure components including internal road networks, power and water systems, activation zone facilities, and planned industrial clusters. Officials provided briefings on connectivity advantages such as expressway access, the upcoming international airport, and proximity to major ports.

Delegates also interacted with project authorities to understand policy incentives, land allotment processes, and long-term development plans. Special focus was placed on sectors like electronics manufacturing, renewable energy, logistics, and semiconductor-related industries.

Sources involved in the discussions indicated that the visiting teams were particularly interested in Dholera’s plug-and-play industrial infrastructure and its readiness for large-scale manufacturing operations. The availability of skilled workforce planning, utility reliability, and smart city governance systems were also reviewed.
