Adani–Embraer Aircraft Manufacturing Project in Dholera to Boost India’s Aviation Sector
A major boost to India’s aviation and aerospace sector is underway as the Adani Group partners with Embraer to establish an aircraft manufacturing facility in Dholera Smart City. This ambitious project aims to manufacture modern regional aircraft in India, marking a significant step toward strengthening the country’s domestic aviation capabilities.
The project is expected to focus on the production of 100-seater aircraft, catering to both domestic and international markets. With world-class infrastructure and strategic location advantages, Dholera is emerging as a preferred destination for high-tech manufacturing industries under the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC).
Additionally, the project will create significant employment opportunities and boost skill development in the aerospace and engineering sectors.
The aircraft manufacturing facility will also enhance India’s position in the global aviation industry, reducing dependency on imports and promoting “Make in India” initiatives.
