Dholera, Gujarat — The GAP Group has appointed Blocher Partners, a leading German architectural firm, for the Rs 2,000 crore Akhilam integrated township in Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR). This marks the first international architectural collaboration in one of Dholera’s flagship real estate projects, signaling increasing global investor confidence in the region’s urban and industrial potential.

The Akhilam township is planned as a world-class, fully integrated urban ecosystem, combining residential complexes, commercial hubs, recreational zones, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and landscaped green spaces. Designed with modern infrastructure and smart city features, the township will implement sustainable urban planning practices, including rainwater harvesting, energy-efficient street lighting, solar integration, and advanced waste management systems. The project aims to establish a benchmark for future-ready, eco-friendly township development in India.

Officials from GAP Group stated that partnering with Blocher Partners will bring international design expertise to the project, ensuring a perfect blend of aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability. The township is expected to attract high-net-worth individuals, global investors, and multinational companies, contributing to Dholera’s evolution as a premium urban hub.

Dholera SIR itself continues to attract industrial, technological, and real estate investments, backed by the region’s planned expressway connectivity, metro links, and upcoming Dholera International Airport.
