Dholera SIR to Get 100 MLD Water Pipeline Support for Industrial Growth
Gujarat Budget 2026–27 includes ₹300 crore provision for a 100 MLD water pipeline to Dholera SIR, supporting future industrial, semiconductor and smart city development.
Dholera Special Investment Region is set to receive major water infrastructure support under Gujarat Budget 2026–27.
The state budget includes a provision of ₹300 crore for providing 100 MLD water through pipeline to the Dholera SIR area. This project is expected to play an important role in supporting industrial growth, smart city development and upcoming large-scale manufacturing projects in the region.
Water supply is one of the most important requirements for any major industrial zone. As Dholera continues to attract investments in semiconductors, electronics, data centres, logistics and advanced manufacturing, reliable water infrastructure will be essential for long-term development.
The proposed pipeline support will help improve basic utility readiness in Dholera SIR and strengthen the region’s capacity to handle future industries and population growth.
This development also shows the Gujarat Government’s continued focus on building strong trunk infrastructure for Dholera. Along with roads, power, ICT systems and logistics, water supply will be a key factor in making Dholera a future-ready industrial smart city.
