The GAP Group, a leading real estate developer, has engaged German architectural firm Blocher Partners to design an ambitious Rs. 2,000 crore integrated township named “Akhilam” in Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR), Gujarat.

The project will include a mix of residential, commercial, and lifestyle components, making it one of the largest urban living developments planned within Dholera Smart City. GAP Group officials noted that the township is being conceptualized to align with smart city principles, ensuring sustainable living, modern amenities, and world-class urban planning.

Commercial hubs with office spaces, retail centers, and coworking facilities

The engagement of Blocher Partners, renowned for international urban planning and architectural excellence, reflects GAP Group’s commitment to global standards in design and sustainability. The township is expected to attract residents, investors, and businesses, contributing significantly to Dholera’s residential and commercial growth.

The project also complements Dholera’s ongoing industrial, transport, and infrastructure projects, such as the Ahmedabad–Dholera Expressway, Dholera International Airport, and upcoming rail connectivity, supporting an integrated ecosystem of work, living, and recreation.

Authorities expect construction to begin in the coming months, with phased delivery of residential and commercial components. Once completed, Akhilam Township is anticipated to become a landmark urban development in Dholera Smart City, blending modern living standards with industrial and commercial growth.
