Gujarat Signs ₹1 Lakh Crore HUDCO MoU to Support Dholera Infrastructure Growth
Gujarat Government has signed an MoU with HUDCO for infrastructure financing of up to ₹1 lakh crore. The agreement is expected to support major infrastructure projects across the state, including development linked to Dholera Smart City and Dholera SIR.
Gujarat has taken another major step toward infrastructure-led growth by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited for financing support of up to ₹1 lakh crore.
The agreement is expected to support important infrastructure projects such as transportation networks, urban development, public utilities and long-term projects connected with Gujarat’s Vision 2047 roadmap. Dholera Smart City is also expected to benefit from this wider infrastructure push, as the region continues to develop as a major industrial and smart city destination.
For Dholera Special Investment Region, improved funding support can help strengthen connectivity, utilities, industrial infrastructure and urban services. This can further improve investor confidence and support future growth in sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, semiconductors, aerospace and real estate.
The MoU reflects Gujarat’s continued focus on planned infrastructure development and reinforces Dholera’s position as one of the state’s most important future-ready growth hubs.
