L&T Vyom Plans ₹25,000 Crore AI-Ready Data Centre Campus in Dholera SIR
Gujarat Government has signed an MoU with L&T Vyom for a 250MW green AI-ready data centre campus in Dholera SIR, with a proposed investment of ₹25,000 crore.
Dholera Special Investment Region is set to receive another major technology-focused investment as the Gujarat Government has signed an MoU with L&T Vyom for a 250MW green AI-ready data centre campus.
The proposed project involves an investment of around ₹25,000 crore and aims to support India’s growing demand for artificial intelligence, cloud computing, digital infrastructure and data processing services.
As per the plan, L&T Vyom will conduct a detailed feasibility study for land suitability, infrastructure readiness, sustainability and availability zones in Dholera SIR.
This development is important because data centres are becoming a key part of modern digital economies. With AI, cloud platforms and high-speed data usage growing rapidly, large-scale data infrastructure will play an important role in supporting future industries.
For Dholera, this project can further strengthen its position as a future-ready smart city and technology hub. Along with semiconductor, aerospace, logistics and industrial developments, the proposed AI-ready data centre campus can attract more technology companies and skilled employment opportunities to the region.
The project is expected to support Gujarat’s vision of becoming a major digital and AI infrastructure destination in India.
