Tata Electronics Partners with Malaysia’s IAQ Group for Dholera Semiconductor Fab
Tata Electronics has partnered with Malaysia-based cleanroom specialist IAQ Group for its upcoming semiconductor fabrication plant in Dholera, marking another key step in India’s chip manufacturing journey.
Tata Electronics has onboarded Malaysia’s IAQ Group to support the cleanroom infrastructure for its upcoming semiconductor fabrication plant in Dholera, Gujarat.
The Dholera fab is one of India’s most important semiconductor projects and is expected to play a major role in building the country’s domestic chip manufacturing capacity. Cleanroom facilities are a critical part of semiconductor manufacturing because chips require highly controlled environments with minimal dust, particles and contamination.
IAQ Group is known for its cleanroom and controlled-environment solutions. Its involvement in the Dholera fab shows that Tata Electronics is focusing on advanced infrastructure and global-level standards for the project.
This partnership is also a positive sign for Dholera’s semiconductor ecosystem. As more specialised companies join the project, the region is likely to attract more technology partners, suppliers and skilled professionals in the coming years.
The development further strengthens Dholera’s position as a future semiconductor and advanced manufacturing hub in India.
