Indo-Taiwan Industrial Park Planned in Sanand-Dholera Region
Gujarat Government has signed an MoU with Taiwan-based Allegiance International to develop an Indo-Taiwan Industrial Park in the Sanand-Dholera region, aiming to boost semiconductor, electronics, EV and robotics manufacturing.
Gujarat Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Taiwan-based Allegiance International Company Limited to develop an Indo-Taiwan Industrial Park in the Sanand-Dholera region.
The proposed industrial park is expected to attract more than ₹1,000 crore in foreign direct investment from Taiwanese industries over the next five years. It is also expected to generate around 12,000 direct employment opportunities.
The project will focus on high-growth sectors such as semiconductor manufacturing, electronics, electric vehicles, robotics and related supply chain industries. This can help strengthen Gujarat’s position as one of India’s leading destinations for advanced manufacturing.
For Dholera, this development is important because it adds another strong investment layer to the region’s growing industrial ecosystem. With semiconductor projects, smart infrastructure and improved connectivity already in progress, the Sanand-Dholera belt is becoming a key manufacturing corridor for global companies.
The Indo-Taiwan Industrial Park can also help Indian and Taiwanese businesses collaborate more closely and set up operations in Gujarat. This may create new opportunities for suppliers, technology partners, skilled workers and supporting industries in the coming years.
Overall, the project is expected to support Gujarat’s vision of building a strong semiconductor and electronics manufacturing ecosystem, while giving Dholera another major push as a future-ready industrial hub.
